Gelusil MPS has a balanced formulation of Magnesium hydroxide & Aluminium hydroxide with Dimethicone which provides fast as well as long lasting relief from acidity, heartburn and gas. Gelusil MPS syrup is also sugar-free and is generally well tolerated. The stomach normally secretes acid that is essential in the digestive process. When there is excess production of acid in the stomach, it results in the condition known as acidity. Heartburn is a common problem created by acid reflux, a condition where some of the stomach contents are forced back up into the esophagus. It creates a burning pain in the lower chest.
Aluminum and magnesium hydroxide work quickly to lower the acid in the stomach. Activated Dimethicone is an active substance to regulate bowel function by changing the surface tension of the intestinal mucous to eliminate excessive gas, air or foam in people with abdominal pain and bloating.
